Aren't these fun? They were ever so much faster and easier to make than the hand-embroidered variety I shared yesterday ... but they smell just as sweet! To make one or two of your own, just follow the simple steps below -
materials patterned paper (My Mind's Eye) + felt flowers and brads (Making Memories) + paper sachets by Kim Morgan, Gilbert AZ
1. Print the sachet pattern onto the back of your patterned paper. You can find it (along with several other fabulous card and envelope patterns) at this website.2. Cut out along the solid lines. Lightly score at the base of each petal (where the dotted lines fall, only do it on the front side of the paper).
3. Fold back each petal and, one at a time, run a line of glue along only the right edge, from the tip to the base.
4. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of potpourri in the center of the sachet (don't over-fill, potpourri needs room to breathe).
5. Fold in petals, working to the right. Tuck in the last petal and firmly press over the whole sachet to secure.
6. Decorate as desired (or leave just as is), and you're done!
I appreciate your work because this is really an amazing and special task to do which makes learner to read and learn more and more!
