How is that for a title? Well, it holds a clue to what this week's scrap challenge is. Are you ready for it? Okay!
My challenge to you is to reduce the number of things you would normally toss in the trash by finding ways to reuse them on a layout. Take the layout I created above, for example. The corrugated strip was packaging from something I received in the mail this week. And the white paper I used for my title and journaling are cut from the excess photo paper from a print job. In fact, on the layout I did for the cover of the current issue I used photo paper for stamping my journaling block (using Staz On ink with stamps on photo paper leaves a nice, crisp image). I've started saving most of my leftover photo paper pieces for use in my layouts.
So what can you come up with? Be creative and think outside the trashcan.
