Bob and Randy Harmon are grocery superstars here in Utah. They get recognized everywhere they go. And here we are, in a photo with them! (Bob is on the far left, and Randy is on the far right. We know them from their radio and tv commercials.)
Yes indeed, we took time out of our busy schedules to attend a private tour of the new Harmon's grocery store opening right in our neighborhood. Why are we so excited, you ask? Because if you've ever been anywhere NEAR the office, then you know there is absolutely nowhere to eat. Now, the prison is right nearby, mind you, and we're sure the food there is nutritious and delicious, but we're not willing to risk getting shivved. So we usually bring our own PB&J or frozen meals to heat up in the microwave. Sometimes we drive to the local gas station for lunch. Otherwise, it's a good 10-minute drive to the nearest eating establishment.
So we're beyond excited to have a wonderful, locally owned and operated grocery store in our neck of the woods... with a cozy seating area upstairs (with cafe tables and even sofas near a fireplace!); fresh, gourmet-prepared food available hot and fresh every day; a gelato bar (we LOVE gelato!); an artisan bakery where they don't use yeast (how is that possible?); a HUGE island with hundreds of imported cheeses and official "cheese mongers"; fresh sushi prepared daily; a cooking school; a meeting room you can rent out; a beautiful floral department with huge roses (from Peru I think?); and I could go on an on.
We all agreed that if we could just move in to the store permanently, we would. And best of all, there's little to no chance of being shivved!

Megan gets friendly with Randy.
Yay! They had our May/June issue in their magazine racks! We always have to check.

Fresh
honey right from a spout! Utah is famous for honey (as I've mentioned
before.) And there's also freshly ground peanut butter and almond
butter.
